P. Vasu is renowed director for his known remakes of Chandramukhi.At First Vasu directed 'Aaptha Mithra' was a stupendous blockbuster starring Late actors Vishnuvardhan and Soundarya in lead roles. The remake version in Tamil 'Chandramukhi' starring Superstar Rajnikanth, Prabhu and Jyothika had a run of 834days setting record-break history. The dubbed version in Telugu was indeed a big hit.After few years P.vasu directed made the sequel of 'Aaptha Rakshaka' in telugu as Nagavalli with Victory Venkatesh and Anushka which running succesfully. The latest news is that Sivaji Productions and P. Vasu have been holding special discussions about remaking the film in Tamil. It seems that the official confirmations might be made on Ajith Kumar's next film in May after the release of 'Mankatha'.
