Venkatesh's Nagavalli is scheduled for release this weekend (December 16th). But its release date has become uncertain as the producer gave a letter to Producer's Council that he is willing to postpone the movie if the strike continues further in support of the Council.
With the Telugu Film Producers' Council and AP Film Industry Employees Federation at loggerheads, shootings of the entire film industry closed and even the post production units have been shut down. Several big producers have received the support from film industry's other bodies in this on-going strike that began after a local fighter bashed up a fighter from Chennai on the sets of Kandireega.
So producer Bellamkonda Suresh, who is producing Kandireega and Nagavalli, came forward to support the Council's decision in this regard.
On the other hand, Director's Association which also belongs to the body of Employees Federation is supporting the Council in this matter.
