Vijay’s Illangyan film based on a movie that takes place in the 1950s and narrates the story of a mother and son, is being filmed in and around a ship. Kalaignar Karunanidhi has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film directed by Suresh Krishna (of Annamalai, Basha, Veera fame).
